I was hesitant about selling our home to build our dream home. Mostly because I wasn’t sure what to do and had little trust for realtors. Reluctantly my wife dragged me to Beans and Brew to meet Lori Chamberlain. Right away She made me feel comfortable and I appreciated her straightforward honesty. She did not sugar coat things which I 100% appreciated. My wife and I left that meeting feeling much more confident. From that moment on Lori worked her butt off. We had showings scheduled right away and amazing offers the first week. This is stressful stuff! Having Lori at our side through all the closing hiccups kept my wife and I sane. The day she sat with us at the title company was a great day! The entire time we were selling we were also building our new home. Lori was there for every inspection. In fact, she often drove from her office to our new home construction (50+miles) to check on the progress. She made things exciting by sending us pics of the progress of our home when we could not make the drive. One day there were 60mph winds where we were building so without any discussion Lori drove to Grantsville to make sure everything was perfect! We are now living in our new home and could not be happier. My wife and I could go on and on about how awesome working with Lori has been. The bottom line is that we highly recommend Lori and anyone working with her at Chamberlain and Company Realty.
I need to comment further on Lori Chamberlain. When I found what I thought was my perfect home, while I was ooo, ing and ahh, ing over the lights, neat things in the kitchen, all the physical things, Lori was checking out the water heater, furnace, wiring, etc. The sellers accepted another offer… but Lori kept an eye on the property and a month later called me and said the deal fell through, was I still interested in it. I wasn’t sure by then, but we went through it again, and it was right for me. One property I looked at that I thought was “ok”, she pointed out the junkyard behind the fence and mentioned I wouldn’t like that…so true. In conclusion, I not only have an AMAZING agent, I think I have an amazing friend in Lori Chamberlain.
